About Okanagan Gold and Silver
Okanagan Gold and Silver is a licensed precious-metals buyer at #202D 269 Bernard Ave in downtown Kelowna, owned by Northwest Diamonds Inc. since 2005. We are not a pawn shop: you sell your pieces outright, there is no loan and nothing to repay.
Walk in any day of the week between 9AM and 5PM. There is no appointment needed, no minimum and no fee. Every item is tested for purity and weighed on a certified scale in front of you, and the offer is worked out from the live spot price while you are at the counter. Take the cash the same day, or take the quote with you and think it over.
How your offer is worked out
Three numbers, all measured where you can see them: the weight of the piece, its purity, and the live spot price at the time of your visit. Hallmarks such as 417, 585, 750 and 925 tell us where to start, and anything unmarked is tested. If a piece turns out to be plated, we tell you.
What we buy
Bring it all in one trip. A single ring is welcome, and so is a full estate.
- Gold: rings, chains, earrings and pendants from 10K to 24K, broken and scrap gold, dental gold and nuggets
- Silver: sterling flatware and serving pieces, platters, hollowware (incomplete sets are fine), silver jewellery, coins and bullion
- Coins and bullion: Maple Leafs including fractional coins, Krugerrands, Sovereigns, Eagles, mint bars, rounds and pre-1967 Canadian silver coins
- Diamonds: loose stones and engagement rings, graded in store, with or without a GIA or AGS certificate
- Luxury watches: Rolex, Omega, Cartier and pocket watches
- Platinum: jewellery, chains and nuggets
